The TOP GUN Miramar series is a tribute to the birthplace of the Top Gun - the pilots’ school of the US Marines in Miramar, California.
Case: Polished black ceramic case. Titanium crown & chrono buttons. Anthracite grey dial. Bold index hour markers, the 12/3/6 & 9 markers are luminous. Red hour track at the center of the dial. Printed minute/seconds track. Blackened steel hands, the hour & minute hands with luminous fill. Small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock. Date window at 3 o'clock.
- Chronograph function:
- Flyback function: allows instant restarting of the chronograph with a single push of the button without the need to stop, reset & restart the stop-watch.
- Large red central seconds counter hand.
- The chronograph sub-dial at the 12 o'clock doubles as both the 60 minute counter & the 12 hour counter, allowing for an easy & instant reading of the stopwatch.
Strap: Fitted on its original IWC khaki green fabric strap with a matte stainless steel deployant buckle. The strap is in excellent, near new condition. We would be comfortable rating the strap as in 98% condition.
Movement: Powered by an IWC in-house calibre 89361 which beats at 28,800 vph, contains 38 jewels & has a power reserve of +/- 68 hours. Features an inner soft iron case for additional protection against magnetic fields.
Condition: This watch is in near-new condition. We took this watch in on trade from a customer who owned it for less than a month. This watch has literally been worn a handful of times at most. We would be comfortable rating this watch in a 98% overall condition. Delivered in its original box with all papers.
