The Longines Avigation Type A-7 USA Limited & numbered edition of only 100 pieces worldwide. A re-edition of an Avigation watch produced by Longines for the US Army Air Corps in the 1930's. The Avigation Type A-7’s feature a dial tilted 40 degrees which allows a pilot to read the time without removing their hands from the controls.
Case: Polished stainless steel case. Polished crown at 12 o'clock with the chrono button at the center of the crown. Grained graduating grey dial. Polished hands. Vintage colored luminous Arabic numeral hour markers. Fine printed minute/seconds track. Small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock.

Strap: Fitted on its original distressed grey calfskin leather strap with a tang buckle & an extension strap to fit over a flight suit. The strap is unworn.
Movement: powered by a Longines caliber L788.2 (base ETA A08.L11), beats at 28,800 vph, contains 27 jewels & has a power reserve of +/- 54 hours.
