The Longines Heritage Chronograph 1940
Case: Polished stainless steel case. Matte silvered dial. Polished rose gold toned hands & applied hour markers. Fine printed minutes/seconds & fractions of a seconds scale. Small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock.
- Chronograph functions:
- Large central seconds counter.
- 30 minute sub-dial counter at 3 o'clock.
Strap: Fitted on its original Longines black alligator strap with a stainless steel tang buckle. The strap is in excellent near new condition with most of its wear lifespan remaining. We would be comfortable rating the strap as in 97% condition.
Movement: Powered by a Longines caliber L705.2 (base ETA A07.231), which beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz), contains 25 jewels & has a power reserve of +/- 48 hours.
Condition: Worn by the original owner a handful of times at most, this watch is in near new condition. We have had this watch lightly spot polished to remove most signs of wear. We would be comfortable rating this timepiece in a 97%+ overall condition. Delivered in its original box and with all papers.
