Limited & numbered edition of only 178 pieces: this piece is commemorates Mr. William Baume who in 1918 partnered the family firm 'Freres Baume' (established in 1830) with famed jeweler & watchmaker 'Paul Mercier', creating the Baume et Mercier brand. This piece was introduced in 2008 marking the 178th anniversary from when the Freres Baume company was founded.
Case: Polished & brushed 18kt rose gold case. Silver dial with multiple very fine finishes. Applied polished rose gold index hour markers. Very fine printed minute track on the dial perimeter. Polished rose gold hands.
Strap: Fitted on its original brown alligator leather strap with a solid 18kt rose gold tang buckle. The strap is unworn.
Movement: Powered by a super thin Baume & Mercier in-house caliber WB-T 001, measuring only 2mm high. Power reserve of +/- 38 hours.
Condition: This watch is completely unworn, we took it in on trade from a watch collector who stored it in his safe. The watch runs perfectly. The watch is delivered in the original commemorative box & papers.
