Breitling Aviator 8 B01 Chronograph 43 Curtiss Warhawk - the sapphire crystal case-back features a Curtiss inscription and a picture of the P-40 Warhawk with a shark mouth logo on the nose of the aircraft.
Case: Brushed & polished stainless steel case. Polished bi-directional rotating bezel. Matte military green dial with silver sub-dials. Polished darkened hands, the hour & minute hands with luminous fill. Luminous numeral & triangle hour markers. Fine printed minutes/seconds & fractions of a second track. Small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock. Date window between 4 & 5 o'clock.
- Chronograph functions:
- Large central seconds counter, capable of measuring time up to 1/4th of a second.
- 30 minute sub-dial counter at 3 o'clock.
- 12 hour counter sub-dial at 6 o'clock.
Strap: Fit on its Breitling original green fabric (calfskin lined) strap with a stainless steel push-button deployant buckle. The strap is excellent near-new condition with only very light signs of wear & with the majority of its wear lifespan remaining. We would be comfortable rating this strap as in 97%+ condition.
Movement: Powered by a Breitling in-house caliber 01, which beats at 28,000 vph (4Hz), contains 47 jewels, and has a power reserve of +/- 70 hours.
Condition: In excellent near-new condition. We have had this watch lightly spot-polished to remove most signs of wear. We would be comfortable rating this watch at a 97%+ overall condition. Delivered in its original box with all papers and warranty card (QR code style warranty card). The factory warranty is valid through 04/2026.
