Navitimer Heritage Special Edition - A tribute to the original Navitimer from 1952
Case: Polished stainless steel case. Blue dial & sub-dials, with gold toned printed 'WINGS' logo. Silver dial flange. Polished hands, hour & minute hand with luminous fill. Applied polished index hour markers with luminous tips. Fine printed minutes/seconds & fractions of seconds track. Small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock. Date window at 3 o'clock.
- Chronograph functions:
- Large red tipped central seconds counter hand, capable of keeping time up to 1/4th of a second.
- 30 minute sub-dial counter at 12 o'clock.
- 12 hour counter sub-dial at 6 o'clock.
- Slide Rule:
- Slide-Rule aka Navigation-Computer via the bi-directional turning bezel.
- The Slide-Rule complication can compute different airborne calculations such as fuel consumption, climbing times & converting miles into nautical miles or kilometers.
Strap: Fitted on its original Breitling blue alligator leather strap with contrasting white stitching & a stainless steel deployant buckle. The strap is in fine condition with plenty of wear lifespan remaining. We would rate the strap as in 90% overall condition.
Movement: Powered by a COSC Chronometer Certified Breitling caliber 13 (base ETA/Valjoux 7750), beats at 28,000 cph (4Hz), contains 25 jewels, and has a power reserve of +/- 42 hours.
Condition: This watch is excellent near-new condition. We have had this watch lightly polished to remove most signs of wear. The original strap is fitted to the watch & is in fine condition. The watch works strong & keep accurate time. All in all we would now be comfortable rating this watch in 92% overall condition. The watch is delivered in its original box with all papers (instruction manual, COSC certificate & original digital warranty card).
