NAVITIMER REF. 806 1959 RE-EDITION, limited & numbered edition of 1959 pieces. The Navitimer Ref. 806 1959 Re-Edition has been designed to faithfully match the design of the original Navitimer in 1959. Some features of note:
- Identical dimensions as the original.
- All black main dial.
- Plexiglas (plastic crystal).
- Beaded bezel grip.
- Unsigned winged logo.
- Syringe shaped hour & minute hands.
- Vintage colored luminous material.
Case: Brushed & polished stainless steel case. Bi-directional rotating bezel. Black dial, silver dial flange. White hands, the hour & minute hands with vintage colored luminous fill. Luminous numeral hour markers. Fine printed minute/seconds & fractions of a seconds track. Small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock.
- Chronograph functions:
- Column wheel mechanism.
- Large central seconds hand counter, capable of keeping time up to 1/4th of a second.
- 30 minute sub-dial counter located at the 3 o'clock position.
- 12 hour counter sub-dial located at the 6 o'clock position.
- Slide Rule:
- Slide-Rule aka Navigation-Computer via the bi-directional turning bezel.
- The Slide-Rule complication can compute different airborne calculations such as fuel consumption, climbing times & converting miles into nautical miles or kilometers.
Straps: Delivered with 2 OEM Breitling straps:
- Fitted on its original Breitling back calfskin strap with stainless steel tang buckle. The strap is in excellent near new condition with its full wear lifespan remaining. We would grade this trap in 97%+ condition.
- Delivered with an additional Breitling original brown calfskin strap with white stitching. The strap is unworn, in crisp new condition with its full wear life span remaining.
Movement: Powered by a Breitling hand-wound in-house caliber B09, beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz), contains 47 jewels & has a power reserve of 70 hours.
Condition: This watch is in excellent near new condition. We have had the watch lightly spot buffed to remove most signs of wear. We would be comfortable rating this watch in an 98% overall condition. This watch is a complete set! Delivered in its original box with the special edition model specific box-sleeve. With all papers (instruction manual, slide-rule instructions, COSC certificate, limited edition certificate & the original LCD screen warranty card). The factory warranty is valid until Feb 2025.
