Bremont H-4 Hercules Spruce Goose limited & numbered edition of only 300 pieces. This model salutes this iconic flying boat of the 1940s. Famously known as the ‘Spruce Goose’.
This limited edition watch features:
- A unique bridle leather packaging, which also contains original aileron fabric from the H-4 Hercules that flew on November 2nd 1947.
- Each Bremont H-4 Hercules Limited Edition rotor is constructed using original birch wood from the H-4 Hercules fuselage, which has been carefully incorporated into each propeller blade.
- The rotor is engraved with a SPRUCE GOOSE.
Case: Brushed stainless steel case. Black DLC coated case barrel. Black dial. Grey finished hands with off-white colored luminous fill. Black dial. Polished hour & minute hands with luminous fill. Applied polished gold toned hour markers with luminous fill. Fine printed minute/seconds & fractions of a second track. Small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock. Date windows at 6 o'clock.
- GMT/Dual Time Zone function:
- Indicated by the polished gold toned & red arrow-head tipped central hour hand.
- Dial flange in black & grey with 24 hour markings.
- The GMT hand makes a single full revolution every 24 hours, pointing to the 24 hour indications on the dial flange.
Straps:
- Fitted on it original Bremont vintage style brown calfskin strap with a stainless steel tang buckle. This strap is in excellent, near-new condition with only light signs of wear and most of its wear lifespan remaining. We would categorize the strap as in 97% overall condition.
- Delivered with an additional Bremont grey fabric NATO style strap with stainless steel hardware. This strap is unworn with its full wear lifespan remaining.
Movement: Powered by a Bremont calibre BWC/02 (base La Joux Perret 6901), COSC certified, beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz), contains 25 jewels & has a power reserve of +/- 50 hours. Slate colored finished bridges.
Condition: This watch is in excellent near-new condition. This was worn a handful of times at most. The watch shows almost no signs of wear at all, we would be comfortable rating it as in 98%+ overall condition. This watch ha snot been polished nor buffed. Delivered in its original box and with all papers.
