Factory service completed 12/2025, with a factory 1 year service warranty expiring 12/2026.Girard-Perregaux Scuderia Ferrari Chronograph Rattrapante Foudroyante – limited & numbered edition of 150 pieces, commemorating the 70th anniversary of Scuderia Ferrari (1929–1999). The caseback features an engraving of the Scuderia Ferrari prancing horse logo.
Case: Brushed & polished white gold case. Black dial. Polished hands, the hour & minute hands with luminous fill. Applied polished hour markers. Fine printed minutes, seconds & fractions of a seconds track on the dial perimeter. Tachymeter scale on inner ring.
- Split Seconds (Rattrapante) Chronograph:
- The split-seconds feature allows for an additional timing interval and is operated via the button integrated into the crown.
- Large dual central chronograph seconds hands: the two seconds counter hands are stacked one directly above the other. Once the chronograph is engaged, the two hands run in unison; when the split-seconds button is pressed, the top hand stops while the lower hand continues to run, allowing an intermediate time to be recorded. Pressing the button again causes the stopped hand to “catch up” with the running chronograph hand.
- 30 minute counter sub-dial at 3 o'clock.
- Foudroyante:
- 1/8th of a second “lightning seconds” complication displayed via the sub-dial at 9 o'clock. When the chronograph is engaged, the hand on this sub-dial advances in eight rapid increments per second, allowing the measurement of fractions of a second in 1/8th second intervals.
Strap: Fitted on its original Girard Perregaux black alligator leather strap with a polished 18kt white gold deployant buckle. The strap is in excellent near new condition with the majority of its wear lifespan remaining. We would grade this strap in 95% overall condition.
Movement: Powered by a Girard Perregaux in-house caliber 8020, beats at 28,8000 vph (4Hz), contains 40 jewels & has a power reserve of +/- 40 hours.
Condition: This watch is excellent near-new condition. The watch came back from a complete factory service (Girard Perregaux Switzerland in early December 2025. As part of the service the watch was polished by GP to remove most signs of wear. The watch has not been wron since its factory service. We would be comfortable rating this watch in an overall 95%+ overall condition. Delivered in its original large red lacquered GP x Ferrari branded box and with all papers. Also included is a GP branded service pouch & a copy of the service letter.
