- Power reserve indicator: mounted on the back of the movement.
Strap: Fitted on its original GS dark blue alligator leather strap with a stainless steel push-button deployant buckle. The strap is in excellent near new condition with the vast majority of its wear lifespan remaining. We would grade this strap in 98% overall condition.
Movement: Powered by a GS manual-wind Spring Drive caliber 9R31, contains 30 jewels & has an approximate power reserve of 72 hours or 3 days.
- The Spring Drive movement is for the most part mechanical, but with a electrical powered regulating mechanism resulting in an extremely accurate timepiece.
- No external source of power (such as a battery) is required. The unwinding force of the mainspring generates a slight electrical current.
- The electrical power is then used to activate & power a quartz oscillator which vibrates at 32,786 Hz & transmits a precise reference signal to the Integrated Circuit.
- The IC compares the speed from the oscillator to the speed of the glide wheel (which drives the gears) and applies a magnetic brake when it detects the glide-wheel operating too fast.
- Thanks to its high frequency the seconds hand moves in a continuous smooth gliding motion.
Condition: In excellent near brand-new condition. Worn a handful of times only. We have chosen not to polish or even buff this watch in order to maintain the original factory 'zaratsu' finishing. We would be comfortable grading this watch at 99% overall condition. Delivered in its original box with all papers. The original warranty is dated 05/2026, expires 05/2031
