The Atmos by Jaeger LeCoultre is a mechanical clock that winds itself from temperature and atmospheric pressure changes in the environment, it does not require manual winding. The movement contains an airtight capsule filled with a mixture of gases which expands and contracts with every shift in temperature. With each expansion & contraction of the chamber an internal main-spring is wound, which in turn powers the clock. A variation of only one degree in temperature is enough to power the Atmos for two days. These clocks can run for years without human intervention.

Case: Six sided crystal case. Transparent crystal dial ring with blue roman numeral hour markers. Blued steel hands.

Movement: Powered by a Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 563, beats at 120 vph, composed out of 217 parts, contains 15 jewels & a single barrel.

Condition: In very good condition. With some very minor surface scratches on the crystal, to be expected from glass. The chrome base has a few scratches on the front side & a discoloration of some sort on the back side (the original owner tried using a very strong cleaning agent to polish the chrome), view the pictures. Based on the crystal & chrome base condition we would categorize this clock as being in a 85%-90% condition. The clock is still under factory warranty (expires 02/2020) & works perfectly.
