Case: Polished 18kt white gold case. Solid 18kt white gold hinged case back opens to a sapphire crystal case back. Rhodium (silver/light-grey) dial. Polished white gold hour & minute hands with a thin strip of luminous fill. Blued steel calendar & seconds hands. Applied polished white gold hour markers. Luminous dot hour markers. Fine printed minutes/seconds track.
- Perpetual calendar:
- Automatically calculates the day, date, month, year & phase of the moon correctly until March 1st 2100, the movement requires a correction only once every 122 years.
- Day of the week sub-dial at 3 o'clock.
- Date sub-dial at 9 o'clock.
- Month sub-dial at 12 o'clock.
- 2 digit year window at the center of the 12 o'clock sub-dial.
- Moonphase aperture at 6 o'clock.
- Red/white indicator located right above the center of the dial, indicating when it is a safe time to set the perpetual calendar. While the window displays RED (between 9pm & 3am) the perpetual calendar should not be adjusted.
Strap: Fitted on a brand new JLC original brown alligator leather strap with a solid 18kt white gold deployant buckle. The strap is unworn & crisp with its full wear lifespan remaining.
Movement: Powered by an in-house Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 889/440/2, beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz) contains 50 jewels & has a power reserve of +/- 40 hours. The Rotor features a peripheral osciallting weight in 22kt gold.
Condition: In excellent near-new overall condition. The watch came back from a complete JLC factory service in January 2023 & has not be worn since . As part of the factory service the watch was polished to remove most signs of wear & brand new strap was fitted to the watch. We would be comfortable rating this watch in an overall 95%+ overall condition. Delivered in its original box & with its original papers. Included is a copy of the factory service letter & a JLC branded service pouch.
