Geophysic True Second (aka Dead Beat Seconds): Rather than a smooth running seconds hand, the hand on this watch ticks second by second. The ticking seconds hand is powered by a separate dedicated hairspring positioned near the center of the movement. Separate hairsprings enable the movement to maintain its amplitude despite the significant additional energy required to power the jump of the seconds hand.
Case: Brushed & polished stainless steel case. Silver dial with a very fine grained finish. Applied polished index hour markers. Fine printed minute/seconds track. Polished hands, hour & minute hands with an aged color luminous fill. Luminous dot hour markers on the silver dial flange. Date window at 3 o'clock.
Strap: Fitted on it original black alligator leather strap with a stainless steel deployant buckle. The strap is in very good condition with most of it wear-life remaining. We would categorize this strap as being in 90% condition.
Movement: powered by a Jaeger leCoultre in-house caliber 770 equipped with JLC's Gyrolab balance. The movement beats at 28,800 vph, with 36 jewels & has a power reserve of +/- 40 hours
Condition: The watch came into us in very nice condition, with only light signs of wear. We have had this watch lightly refinished to remove most signs of wear. The watch is now in excellent, near new condition. Delivered in its original With the complete set of box & papers.
