Brushed & polished stainless steel case. Blue lacquered main dial with silvered/grey map of continents. Applied index hour markers. Fine printed minute/seconds track. Polished hands, the hour & minute hands with luminous fill.
World-Time Complication: Silvered 24  city ring. 24 hour time zone ring, with silver & blue segments representing day & night.
Additional Complications: True Second (Dead Beat Seconds) the seconds hand on this watch ticks second by second rather than the traditional smooth running seconds hand on a regular mechanical timepiece. This movement allows for independent hour adjustment while the minute & seconds continue to run. Hour hand & date can be adjusted forward or backward without risk of damaging the movement.
Powered by a Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 772, with 36 Jewels & a power reserve of +/- 40 hours.
Fitted on a JLC original black alligator strap, which has developed a beautiful reddish patina. The strap is worn but in good condition with plenty of life remaining.
The watch was completely serviced & refinished by JLC in September 2016 & has rarely been worn since. The watch is in close to new condition, with barely noticeable signs of wear.
