One of the most iconic & collectible modern Panerai timepieces. Aptly known as the PANERAI LUMINOR BASE LOGO: BASE because of its very base movement, indicating only hours & minutes. The LOGO refers to the OP (Officine Panerai) logo on the dial.

Case: Polished stainless steel case. Black dial, luminous painted hour markers. Blackened steel hands with luminous fill. 

Strap: Fitted on a barely worn black calfskin strap with a polished stainless steel tang buckle. Delivered with a lightly worn additional OEM Panerai rubber strap & a tool to change straps.

Movement: Powered by a manual winding Panerai OP I calibre (base ETA 6497) with 17 jewels & power reserve of +/- 56 hours.

Condition: This watch came into us with only very light sign of wear. It was obvious the original owner too good care of the watch. We have had the watch lightly buffed to remove most signs of wear. It is in very near new condition, with the complete set of box & papers.
