- Date window at 4 o'clock.
- Month sub-dial at 3 o'clock.
- GMT via central arrowhead hand, with corresponding AM/PM indicator at the center of the 9 o'clock sub-dial.
- Equation of time via linear indicator at 6 o'clock.
- Power reserve indicator on the back of the movement. The equation of time is the difference between the mean time and the true time indicated by the solar meridian, this is the result of the combination of the earth’s inclination and its elliptical orbit. The equation of time indicator displays this difference in time and it is set automatically according to the date & month.
Strap: Fitted on its original, barely worn blue alligator leather strap with off-white stitching & a brushed tang buckle. Supplied with an additional, unworn, Panerai branded black rubber strap & with the necessary tools to change the strap & buckle.
Movement: Powered by a Panerai in-house manually wound caliber P.2002/E which beats at 28,800 vph, contains 31 jewels & has an incredible power reserve of 8 days or 192 hours when fully wound.
Condition: We acquired this watch from its original owner who purchased it at the NY City boutique in Jan 2018. The watch had been worn seldom & with great care, which was evident by the overall condition it was in when it arrived into our office. We have had the watch very lightly spot buffed to remove most signs of wear. We would be comfortable rating this watch at 97%+ overall condition. Delivered in its original box with all papers.
