Limited & Numbered edition of 359 pieces world-wide! This version pays tribute to the Americas version: which features a black dial with a silver perimeter rim bearing 5 minute markings in Arabic Numerals & the" "Le-Coultre" brand name with "Deep Sea Alarm Automatic" in script text on the center rotating part of the dial. A tribute to the original Memovox Deep Sea watch which was originally presented in 1959. This was the first automatic diving watch to feature an Alarm function. At the time, in response to the new sport of diving Jaeger-LeCoultre developed a watch entirely designed to meet the needs of divers. Such a creation was as exceptional at the time as the acoustic indicator designed to inform divers when to begin their gradual return to the surface - a feature which greatly increased the safety of the sport's enthusiasts. In tribute to the original watch and in order to preserve its vintage charm, the Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea uses a Plexiglas crystal and the color of the luminous material has been carefully selected for the triangles, index markers, alarm indicator and hands.
