Return Policy

WATCHES MUST BE RETURNED TO US IN BRAND NEW CONDITION WITH ALL PROTECTIVE PLASTICS/TAPE, HANG TAGS & ACCESSORIES INTACT. UNTIL YOU ARE POSITIVE YOU WILL BE KEEPING THE WATCH, DO NOT WEAR IT. IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE FOR A WATCH TO BE WORN, EVEN FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME, AND FOR THE WATCH NOT TO BE BLEMISHED OR SCRATCHED IN ANY WAY.

  1. All returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization No. (RMA#). Please call 800-470-2343 prior to return for RMA#. This number must be displayed on the outside of the box; this will expedite your return. A watch returned without authorization will be refused.
  2. Do not have the bracelet sized (links removed).
  3. All products must be returned with original packaging, manuals, protective tape & hang tags etc.
  4. Returns will be credited in full minus a 2% restocking fee and original shipping & insurance charges (Shipping Charges are as follows: $13 for FedEx Standard Delivery, $33 FedEx 2nd Day Delivery, $43.00 for FedEx Next Day Delivery & $63 for Overnight Priority 10.30 am delivery).
  5. Restocking charges are waived on an exchange.
  6. Credit will be issued in the same form as payment received.
  7. Returns must be shipped via traceable courier, e.g. UPS or USPS (Do not ship via FedEx, FedEx does not insure watches or jewelry valued above $500). Return shipment must be pre-paid and fully insured for the amount you expect credit. Collect shipping will be refused. In case of loss or damages, customer is liable.
  8. Once you have been issued a RMA#, you must ship the watch back so that we receive it within 7 days of us issuing the RMA#.

We believe that the above conditions are reasonable, fair and quite simple to adhere to. If for some reason one or multiple conditions cannot be met, please call and we will try to help, BUT you must call before and receive authorization.

Special Orders
We will gladly assist in providing special orders of items that we may not currently have in stock. If you are looking for a specific item, let us know and we will search through our distributors to find you the best price possible. Due to the specialized nature, special order items are not subject to the standard return policy. We reserve the right to implement a Special Order Return Policy, which if applicable to an order will be provided to you in writing and will require your signed consent before a Special Order is accepted by PrestigeTime.com.

An estimated time frame for delivery of Special Orders will be provided to you prior to placing the Special Order.

Purchases by Manufacturers
The Standard Return Policy does not apply to any purchases made by any watch manufacturer, watch brand distributor, and/or any person acting on behalf of any of these entities in any capacity. Purchases made by the aforementioned entities may not be returned for any reason under any circumstances.

Product Availability

PrestigeTime.com takes pride in its large inventory of quality time pieces. If your purchased item is currently in stock, we will ship the item within 1 to 2 business days after the order is verified. You will be notified of the shipment by email or phone.

Under certain circumstances, due to the volume of orders we receive or due to the item being a non-stock item, an item will be out of stock. If this happens, we will notify you by email or phone in a timely fashion to provide you the desired watch within a pre-determined, estimated time frame or help you find another item. If you have already been charged, but the item is no longer in stock, please be assured that we will refund the full amount charged. Refunds will be issued by the same method as the original payment.

ANY PURCHASE ORDERS, QUOTATIONS OR OTHER EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION CONCERNING A SALE OF A WATCH SHALL NOT RESULT IN A BINDING CONTRACT UNLESS AND UNTIL PRESTIGE TIME ISSUES A SHIPPING CONFIRMATION TO THE PURCHASER.

Shipping Policy

Shipping to the Continental USA:
Prestige Time LLC offers free FedEx Standard 3-4 business days delivery shipping on all watch orders ($13.00 value).

Please note - due to the nature & value of the products we sell ALL packages will require an adult signature at the time of delivery. Unfortunately due to insurance restrictions we are not able to ship packages without requiring an adult signature.

Expedited deliveries such as "Next Business Day" & "2nd (second) Business Day" deliveries are also available at an additional cost.

Our preferred method of shipping is via FedEx. Alternate shipping options & methods are available upon request.

All packages shipped via Prestige Time LLC are fully insured against loss, theft & damage during transit. Although FedEx does not insure watches above $500, our packages are covered by an independent 3rd party insurance company.

All packages are shipped with an "Adult Signature" requirement prior to release by the FedEx driver. Before signing please inspect the package to ensure it has not been tampered with or damaged.

Shipping to an address other than the billing address:
Due to the heightened risk of fraud associated with credit card purchases of high end luxury items such as watches & jewelry, PrestigeTime prefers to ship all watches to the billing address. However we recognize the necessity for customers to have an option of shipping the package to an alternate address. If you choose to have the package shipped to an address different than your billing address, we will require that an "alternate shipping address" be added to file with your credit card company. This is a very routine & simple process which should take only a few minutes.
  1. Call your bank customer service telephone number; the telephone number is on the back of your credit card (usually toll free).
  2. Ask the customer service representative to add an "Alternate Shipping Address to File" & give the representative the address you'd like to have us ship the watch to.

This security procedure benefits & protects both the consumer & Prestige Time LLC from potential fraudulent orders. This procedure tells us that the cardholder has authorized Prestige Time LLC to ship the watch to an address other than the billing address.

Shipments to NY State:
Since Prestige Time LLC is located in NY State, we are required by state law to charge sales tax on sales that ship to anywhere in NY State. Therefore all shipments to NYS are subject to your local sales tax rate.

Shipments to Alaska, PR and Hawaii:
Orders shipped to Alaska, Puerto Rico and Hawaii will be charged a flat fee of $50.00 & are usually delivered within two to three business days from shipping.

PO Boxes:
At this time we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, as FedEx does not deliver to PO Boxes.

APO/FPB Military Addresses:
We are please to inform you that we do deliver to APO/FPO Military Addresses. Delivery is via US Mail with a charge of $30, this fee covers delivery & insurance expenses for purchases up to $5000. Orders exceeding $5000 will be given a custom quote prior to us processing the order. Please note: Due to Military Handling times we cannot ensure or estimate transit/delivery times.

Shipments of multiple items or large packages:
On some boxes such as the multiple head Orbita Watch Winders, or shipments with multiple items which are large & heavy, we may need to adjust the pricing for shipping. If such is the case on an order you placed we will notify you before we charge you card or request payment. A custom-shipping-quote will be provided once we determined the delivery location & all costs involved.

Sales Tax

Taxes:
As Prestige Time is located in NY State, we are required by law to collect sales tax on all deliveries within NY State. The sales tax rate will be calculated by your local sales tax rate. Prestige Time does not collect sales tax on orders shipping anywhere outside of New York State.

Warranty

Prestige Time LLC. guarantees all watches sold through our web-site to be 100% brand new, genuine, in the original box, including the papers (excluding the warranty card/book), and with the original serial number intact and unaltered.

Prestige Time is NOT an authorized dealer of any brand watch we sell. We source most of our watches from authorized dealers and other direct, reliable sources. We do not source our watches through unreliable or questionable sources.

Serial Numbers on Watches
Every watch manufacturer imprints a serial number on each of their watches for identification purposes. PrestigeTime.com guarantees that each watch it sells bears the original manufacturer’s serial number, intact and without any alterations. PrestigeTime.com guarantees that every watch it sells is authentic and that the serial number on each watch has never been altered or modified in any way.

Warranty – detailed explanation:
The manufacturers dictate that their watches be sold through the authorized channels at full or close to full list prices. On the other hand the watches are sold to dealers at anywhere between a 40%-50% discount. We have arrangements with direct authorized dealers/distributors both in the US & internationally where we commit to buy large quantities of goods from them throughout the year. Based upon the quantities we buy the authorized agents sell us the product at a small margin above their cost. This benefits the dealer in two ways 1) they look good with the manufacturer, and 2) they make a quick & easy profit - which they would not have likely done otherwise.

Due to the fact that we are considered an unauthorized dealer – the manufacturer will not honor a warranty on a watch bought through us. However Prestige Time LLC steps in & provides you with an equivalent warranty that mirrors the manufacturer’s warranty.

If in the unlikely event something does go wrong with your watch for 2 years from date of purchase, the watch would need to be sent back to us. If the issue is an easy fix such as a regulation, battery change or a similar simple issue – we have contracted highly qualified professional watchmakers who are capable of correcting these simple issues (water resistance testing after opening the watch & other such concerns are completely guaranteed). Our watchmakers are authorized repair centers for many high end watch manufacturers & can easily deal with these simple corrections.

However if we determine that the defect is of a more serious nature, we will actually have the watch returned to the respective manufacturer through our authorized dealers. The only issue with sending a watch back to the manufacturer is the lead time. Unfortunately the manufacturers can take a minimum from anywhere between 4-8 weeks to repair a watch, sometimes longer if parts are back ordered.

Prestige Time LLC Limited Warranty - defined by "Prestige Time 2 Year Warranty"
The Prestige Time LLC warranty covers all new watches for the period of two years from the date of purchase.

  • The warranty covers manufacturing defects & battery replacement only.
  • The warranty does not cover damages such as scratches, finish, crystals, glass, Straps – leather, fabric or rubber, damage due to wear & tear, damage resulting from wear under conditions exceeding the watch manufacturer's water resistance limitations & damage due to physical and/or accidental abuse.

All warranty repairs must be handled directly through PrestigeTime. Watches opened or repaired by any other source will void all warranties. PrestigeTime will cover all parts and labor or replace the watch at our discretion within the warranty period.

Shipping & insurance costs for warranty returns to Prestige Time LLC must be covered by the customer. Returns must be shipped via traceable courier, e.g. UPS or USPS (Do not ship via FedEx, FedEx does not insure watches or jewelry valued above $500). Return shipment must be pre-paid and fully insured. Collect shipping will be refused. In case of loss or damages, customer is liable.

Return shipping expenses to the customer once the watch is repaired will be covered by Prestige Time LLC.

2-Year Prestige Time Warranty For Rolex Watches:
All Rolex watches purchased from Prestige Time are guaranteed to have never been worn. The watches will arrive in the original Rolex box with ALL documents included, including the instruction manual and warranty card.

As Prestige Time LLC is not an authorized Rolex dealer and is in NO WAY affiliated with Rolex, the manufacturers warranty will not be valid. Prestige Time LLC will provide you with an equivalent warranty that mirrors the manufacturer’s warranty period of 2 Years.

Manufacturer Warranty - defined by "All Papers Included":
In some circumstances Prestige Time LLC is able to pass along an authorized dealer stamped warranty card. In the detailed description of each watch we clearly state which warranty is provided. In the case where we can pass along the manufacturers warranty we will clearly state "All Papers Included".

When the manufacturers warranty is included with the watch, we will include the original authorized dealer endorsed warranty card, in which case any warranty service requirements shall be handled directly between the consumer and the manufacturer. That is not to say we will not assist in getting the warranty service. In the unlikely event that something goes wrong with your watch, we encourage our customers to contact us & we will direct you on where to send the watch & how to go about getting the warranty service handled.

The Prestige Time warranty will not be in effect if the watch supplied to you comes with the original manufacturers warranty.

Prestige Time is proud to be a direct Authorized Dealer for Orbita Watch Winders & Cases.
Sparta Winders with Lithium Batteries: Orbita offers a factory direct iron-clad five (5) year materials and workmanship guarantee for each and every American-made SPARTA watchwinder and that includes a five year battery service life guarantee on all SPARTA Lithium powered winders.
All other winders: Orbita offers a factory direct iron-clad two (2) year materials and workmanship guarantee for each and every Orbita watchwinder.
